About Mike Tefft
For Mike Tefft, real estate has never been just about buying and selling homes. It is about strategy, timing, value, lifestyle, and helping clients make decisions that benefit them long after closing.
Mike moved to Raleigh from Buffalo, New York in 1999 to coach ice hockey, bringing with him the discipline, competitiveness, and leadership that still shape how he serves clients today. He began his real estate career in 2005 and has built a reputation as a trusted Raleigh real estate agent known for strategic guidance, strong negotiation skills, and an elevated client experience throughout the Triangle.
With nearly two decades of experience in residential real estate, luxury homes, investment properties, and property management, Mike brings rare perspective to every transaction. He owns more than 10 rental properties and several commercial properties, and alongside his wife, owns NET Property Management. This firsthand experience helps him advise clients on where to live and how real estate can support long-term financial growth.
Whether preparing a luxury home for market, helping a buyer compete for the right property, guiding a first-time homebuyer, or advising an investor, Mike approaches every decision with precision, market knowledge, and a commitment to protecting his clients’ best interests.
Out of more than 21,000 real estate agents in North Carolina, Mike has been recognized among the Top 500 Realtors in NC by Triangle Real Producers for over ten years.
Outside of real estate, Mike coaches the 14U AAA Junior Hurricanes Girls Hockey team, which won its regional tournament in 2026 and competed at Nationals. He is also an avid golfer and tries to get out once a week — purely for “market research,” of course.
For clients who expect expertise, discretion, strong negotiation, and a polished real estate experience, Mike offers trusted guidance, proven insight, and a lifelong commitment to helping people build wealth and live well through real estate.
